Jesus Christ, are you 12 years old? Some of us are capable of having opinions that have nothing to do with who we like. What I responded to has absolutely zero to do with any other artist. Again, unhinged behavior. I have already said in this thread that it is insane she hasn’t won yet, and that voters very clearly have some kind of bias towards her. When you’re an adult whose life doesn’t revolve around stanning, it’s easy to have nuanced feelings towards things. I hope you reach that level of maturity one day.

“unhinged behavior” girl be calm!! all i said was that its usually gaga stans saying what you were saying lmao

Yes, it’s a problem in general for black women, but this idea that Beyoncé should stop submitting if she doesn’t win one award reeks of entitlement. I’m sure Beyoncé wants her first AOTY win, but I know damn well she won’t begrudge her genre wins either, not when they would put her in the history books for the most awarded artist ever.

yeah i don’t think she should or will stop submitting, but i still stand by the fact that she’s been snubbed multiple times in gf

Beyoncé hasn’t been treated unfairly, tho. Yes, she deserves the top awards, but her being treated unjustly with nearly 30 wins out of nearly 90 nominations is kinda a meh take. Not when someone as impactful as Diana Ross hasn’t received one win yet (fingers crossed for her today!).

she hasn’t been treated THAT unfairly, but it definitely is weird that she’s one of the most impactful and acclaimed artists of the century so far and only has 1 general field win, which is also a problem for a majority of black women with the grammys

Yes, the person who is about to become the most awarded in Grammy history is treated so unfairly. ☠️ This victim narrative y’all love to push about a billionaire who is loved and respected by so many people is truly unhinged. And all because she hasn’t won an award many of you claim doesn’t matter anymore.

gaga fans like you are so biased against bey 😭 its ok to admit that she has multiple critically acclaimed albums that deserved album of the year based off of their acclaim and impact alone

ice spice could actually be a very viable best new artist contender, especially if latto is this year. her song gangsta boo debuted on Billboard Hot 100 last week, and in ha mood is expected to debut this week. also, her boys a liar remix with pinkpantheress will probably enter too as its top 50 on us Spotify. overall, ice spice is seeing some real success outside of twitter hype!

STOP – After all, the Academy keeps using her as their “wildcard” to say, “How are we racist if a black person is the artist who has won our award the most times? 🥺 ” “How are we racist if a black is the most awarded artist of the night? “

the difference is that latin music has only blown up in America within the past 5 years. black artists have been having success since the Grammys began. that’s like saying that it doesn’t make sense that a kpop album has never won aoty..svg” class=”emoji”

Jlo has no grammy because she was a product manufactured by mariah carey’s ex-husband with no artistic intent. Not to mention the controversy of stolen vocals from black singers like Ashanti and others. Jlo is basically a celebrity and not a singer and that is why people in the music industry never gave her that. Although I see cardi b with the same view that I see jlo and yet she won Grammys. Atlantic Records worked very well with cardi b

lmao cardi b and jlo ARE similar, the difference with cardi is that she’s more loved by the industry for some reason. i have literally no clue how critics think that cardi’s debut is one of the best and most impactful albums of all time, that shit is trash outside of a few songs

If someone has posted this previously, my apologies, I didn’t read through all 93 pages of the forum. I truly believe in synchronicities via numerology, it may sound out there but it makes sense, at least for me. 😊 Beyonce was born on the 4th Renaissance is listed as 4th on the AOTY ballot as artists are listed in alphabetical order. If Beyonce were to win AOTY she would be only4th Black female artist in Grammy history to achieve the top prize. I’ve read in the past where she said 4 was her favorite number. Sunday’s date adds up to 4 at root. Renaissance is her 4th AOTY nomination, following I Am…, Beyonce and Lemonade. I’m almost certain she’s going to win AOTY.

me last year trying to convince people that planet her is winning album of the year
