Luca Giliberti is a Contributing Writer, movie and television lover, and an awards fanatic. He earned bragging rights by coming in second at predicting the 2018 Emmy nominations. He jumped up and down when Viola Davis (“HTGAWM”) won her first Emmy, cried tears of happiness when Darren Criss (“Versace”) won his, and shouted “Praise be!” when Ann Dowd (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) finally received hers. He will never forgive Oscar voters for denying Timothée Chalamet (“Call Me By Your Name”) Best Lead Actor at the 2018 Oscars – one his all-time favorite performances. Oh, and he’s still waiting for Lena Headey to win that Emmy for “Game of Thrones.” He loves Viola Davis and won’t apologize for wanting her to win every award.

THE HANDMAID’S TALE SEASON 4 (Premieres 2021)
I just hope the whole season will be eligible at the Emmys. Submitting three episodes shouldn’t beestrelas
This first four episodes are definitely better than the first ones from the previous season. The writing is it's biggest problem but overall I'm enjoying it. Elisabeth Moss, Madeline Brewer and Amanda Brugel definitely the standouts, so far, for me.

If this is good, I expect Oscar nominations and maybe even wins for both King and Ridley.

The Alienist Sequel: Angel of Darkness (TNT)
I'm sorry, but like with PGA and BLL nominations voting should be done all over again. Only this timAllan Veríssimo
The actress who plays Libby, Rosy McEwen, is excellent. I would be happy if the awards remember her in Supporting Actress.
