There’s Brittany Howard too. She has submissions all over Rock/Alternative, American Roots and R&B fields (I just can’t remember the exact submissions for the last one) – and assuming this insider is true she could overperform and land 8-9 nods.November 23, 2020 at 8:53 am #1203857396
7 noms for Roddy (thanks to rap field double noms)
6 noms for Taylor, The Weeknd and Maren Morris (thanks to The Highwomen)
and 3 for both Dua (4 if she manages to sneak into BPVA) and Harry.
I don’t see any other pop names with a bunch of nominations this time around. May luck be with everyone – us included!November 22, 2020 at 9:19 pm #1203856402
The Weeknd, Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber tied for biggest winners of the night with 3 each.November 21, 2020 at 6:45 pm #1203853789
Some mroe observations:
Roddy Ricch is listed as Rodrick Moore (I don’t know if they’ll update)
The Weeknd is listed as “Weeknd” on the URL (as opposed to the previous one with “the”)
Illangelo is listed as Carlo Montagnese (After Hours producer and engineer/mixer)November 21, 2020 at 9:35 am #1203852961
Well, if at least we get the 403/404 thing tomorrow or on Monday……….. let’s see if they’ll help us with the glitch again.November 21, 2020 at 9:32 am #1203852953
Clanky17 is posting them on his Twitter account. They’re clearly fake and just goldderby prediction though

How does Harry not? He’s still predicted to be higher on the charts this week despite being almost a year old (has only left the top 20 twice – both times was #21), he just hit 3B Spotify streams, had 2 big radio hits, just won a Hitmaker of the Year award, and is culturally relevant.
Hadn’t Taylor released folklore or The Weeknd submitted to Pop then he would an actual chance – and even then he would have to deal with Dua and her campaign all over your face. The nomination will be his reward for all of this, he’s not the runner-up.November 20, 2020 at 6:35 pm #1203851549
I love how Fiona is giving some kind of content while at the same time doesn’t really give a F about Grammys or anything else. Unbothered queen.November 19, 2020 at 6:10 pm #1203848915
BBC’s best albums of 2020 (no ranking; it is seemingly alphabetical):
Fiona Apple – Fetch the Bolt Cutters
Chloe x Halle – Ungodly Hour
Bob Dylan – Rough and Rowdy Ways
Dua Lipa – Future Nostalgia
Róisín Murphy – Róisín Machine
Run the Jewels – RTJ4
Rina Sawayama – Sawayama
Nadine Shah – Kitchen Sink
Taylor Swift – Folklore
“WAP”, “Midnight Sky”, “Rain on Me”, “Watermelon Sugar” and “Blinding Lights” also make into the list of the best songs of the year.November 19, 2020 at 9:03 am #1203847684
What has the weeknd’s campaign been so far?
VMAs, AMAs, Super Bowl announcement, multiple music videos for non-singles (including upcoming ones), an ad highlighting his achievements and critical reception, Rolling Stone Grammy preview issue and Time 100 (he was lobbying to enter into Pop categories on both events). He’s also set to release “Save Your Tears” to radio next week and will receive Record of the Year at Variety’s Hitmakers next month.
This is definitely the most effective and consistent campaign of this period. The biggest? I don’t think so yet, we’ll se after next week. But I can say that Republic (and his team) is betting all their money for him for the Grammys.November 18, 2020 at 2:22 pm #1203846214
Neither Lil Baby or Megan are touching AOTY. He’ll be enough with a SOTY and her with a BNA (no, I don’t see “Savage” in ROTY but it may happens, who knows). The rap contenders are definitely Roddy and Run the Jewels.
