Taylor Swift sounds so basic to me. Like it’s good but not remarkable, folklore is the only album that I can truly justify her getting aoty but her other wins are so iffy to me. Like there are people way more deserving than her and the quality of her work is being overplayed by her fans.

I think by this point it’s safe to assume midnights is locked for AOTY , but I feel like she might miss or simply not be a strong contender for SOTY and ROTY. Praying for Snow On The Beach to get into pop duo.

I think initial reaction Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd? has been really good. Lana’s become a bit of a critics darling ( Blue Banisters getting higher scores than Honeymoon or UV is laughable), but I feel like this might be another NFR! era for her. Plus the album is gonna be featuring last years AOTY winner, Jon Batiste.
I can see her getting nominations again with this album.

Also, underrated artist but quickly on the rise is Ethel Cain. She’s getting a lot of attention, even getting over 1M monthly listeners. American Teenager made it into so many publications end of year list. I feel like if she plays it right with Preacher’s Daughter B-side, she might get into BNA next year.
