If Best Pop Duo/Group is televised, then the winner will be ROM or Dynamite.
If Best Pop Vocal Album is televised, then a pop album won’t win AOTY.
– Best New Artist
– Best Pop Solo Performance or Best Pop Duo/Group Performance
– Best Rap Performance or Best Melodic Rap Performance
– Best Rock Performance (all of them are women)
– Best Country Solo Performance
– Album of the Year
– Song of the Year
– Record of the YearNovember 30, 2020 at 1:08 pm #1203885240
LMAO “Folklore took the bigger risk”, when it’s clearly the biggest grammy bait I have listened in years.November 30, 2020 at 12:29 pm #1203885118
At least from all the set ups, this is the one that I actually like with Nas winning his overdue Grammy, in a category where he should’ve won multiple times before.November 30, 2020 at 11:34 am #1203885010
If this out of nowhere AOTY nom for Collier doesn’t do the trick for him, he’s done, like every album he has been releasing since his debut has been less successful, like this DJesse Vol 3 didn’t chart anywhere. There’s even a Vol. 4 coming out.
Like stop playing politics, and accept that Jacob belongs to producing and engineering.November 30, 2020 at 7:10 am #1203884340
And the grammy goes to “FOO…UTURE NOSTALGIA”November 29, 2020 at 10:22 pm #1203883954
Let’s not overthink this, only hits and songs with longevity win here, this is “Rain on Me” vs “Dynamite”.November 29, 2020 at 10:15 pm #1203883942
I wonder how many copies swifties have in their rooms at this point. Do they even listen to them? Do people still have CD players? Get those inflated sales, I guess.November 29, 2020 at 6:35 pm #1203883477
Taylor makes the most basic, safest, one-note catchy songs to be commercially successful, then hype those up for awards. She’s been doing that her whole career.November 29, 2020 at 5:41 pm #1203883357
1989 was pure heavy campaign with grammy voters even before nominations came out. The way she shoved that album down their throats after she lost for Red was ruthless. Sound & Color checked all the boxes and was meant to win that award, but Taylor HAD to win her second before Adele.
The academy doesn’t owe anything to Taylor, “cardigan” won’t win, they will go with a hit or a song with actual longevity.November 26, 2020 at 5:16 pm #1203876209
It’s obvious they snub some people overnominate others, because they want to award an specific artist or give them an edge. It’s just blatantly disgusting how they’re benefiting Taylor and Dua in Album of The Year, let’s just say it.
They always nominate the biggest artists commercially, because who thinks Post Malone is there based on quality or being one of the best.November 26, 2020 at 4:56 pm #1203876181
They’re trashing this because it’s JD Vance story. This is typical basic feel good movie, relatable to many people with great performances by Amy Adams and Glenn Close. The score deserves to be nominated for an oscar, Zimmer did it again.November 26, 2020 at 4:50 pm #1203876163
They should publish the top 20 in all 4 GF categories or other tops weeks before nominations, just like the oscars do with their shortlists. That’s transparency.November 26, 2020 at 4:45 pm #1203876147
Jacob’s album is something else, whew. Sadly, Taylor is winning this, because all the real competition was snubbed, not because it’s the best, not even in that lineup.November 25, 2020 at 3:27 pm #1203873384
It’s insulting that a song like Yummy got nominated not only over Blinding Lights but many other better songs, aren’t voting members supposed to be music experts? This whole thing is rigged, but it’s their award show they can nominate or snub whoever they want.
