Don’t see how this answers my question but anyway.October 27, 2020 at 12:54 pm #1203805897
The other albums were not eligible, you are clowning your selves over that list when none of the high rated albums there even won a Grammy.
We’re talking about nominations here, not wins. And what other albums are you talking about? Rob Sheffield stated that the deadline was a little before folklore was released but, even if they didn’t wanna take into account albums released in 2020, they could’ve easily left out Fine Line but didn’t… which proves that it has industry support.October 27, 2020 at 12:46 pm #1203805867
Harry will miss this one it seems. He has not enough industry support.
Explain to me how Fine Line doesn’t have enough industry support to make it in BPVA when it’s the most recent album to make it in Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list, which was voted by the industry…?October 27, 2020 at 10:06 am #1203805430

Doesn’t Taylor Swift have the best selling albim of the year, not Lil Baby?
Based on the YTD overall activity chart that HITSDD updates weekly, Lil Baby has the best selling album with 1.9M equivalent units and Taylor is #6 with 1.4M…
This is the chart: https://hitsdailydouble.com/ytd_project_activitySeptember 8, 2020 at 12:11 pm #1203693171
I would say that Intentions is even more of a “lock” than Exile right now, I still think the song will make it though.August 31, 2020 at 3:06 pm #1203678497
Post is so underrated, he is actually talented, successful creative and a good live performer,he just seems not to be taken serious by the academy, and that makes him grammy poison
I don’t think he’s necessarily not taken seriously, I mean he does have 3 nominations in the GF in the span of 2 years… his time to win will come eventually.August 31, 2020 at 3:01 pm #1203678477

Artists have until October to take advantage of the bundle system. So we’ll probably get an avalanche of releases before then.
The new rules regarding bundles for the Hot 100 already started taking place on August 7th. It’s only the BB 200 rules that are left and they start on October 2nd.August 20, 2020 at 9:33 am #1203656716
Signed CD’s are showing up in record stores across the US I think these are putting them out early and they’ll be available on her store tonight and at more retailers. They’re pushing for week 5 and these record stores putting them out early may help secure a week 4 since that’s by no means locked.
Good move but I wonder why she didn’t release them on her online store like last time?August 18, 2020 at 7:43 pm #1203653861
Some of y’all keep mentioning that folklore wasn’t meant to spawn hits and it’s honestly a dumb excuse. Taylor is a pop star at the end of the day and y’all know damn well there’s a certain standard for them (hit songs and albums with good sales, at least she has the latter).
Voters won’t care that the album is chamber pop and “wasn’t meant to have hits” or whatever.August 17, 2020 at 9:10 am #1203650202
