This BB song was already atrocious, one of the worst records ever… who would’ve figured it could get worse (the remix just did it!)… absolutely terrible escenario for next week, hopefully the Wiz Khalifa song blocks it.May 6, 2015 at 6:43 am #409551
Where do you think “Pretty Girls” will debut?

A Swiftless top 10, will always be a great Top 10.April 30, 2015 at 9:20 am #410798
It’ll be ‘I Don’t Like It, I Love It’ by Flo Rida ft. Robin Thicke.April 23, 2015 at 8:47 am #409537
This is the BEST Top 10 we’ve had since last August, with some flaws like every week of course, but still the best in months…April 21, 2015 at 2:46 pm #409528
“See You Again” has to be one of the most unremarkable #1 hits of the last 5 years, and I think is one people will look back on with shock that it hit #1 (a la “Give Me Everything” or score of other #1’s). I definitely was glad to see “Uptown Funk!” finally fall from the top spot (even though I like the song a lot, I was ready for it to go), but it’s a shame it couldn’t have fallen to “Style” or “Love Me Like You Do”.
I don’t understand how is unremakable a song that:
- sells over 300k downloads for multiple weeks,
- gets 1 million streams a day on Spotify
- comes from the #1 album and the #1 film in the US
- reaches the top 15 on Pop Airplay after roughly two weeks
- unseats a 14-week leader on the Hot 100
At most you could say you don’t like it, but the song is remarkable.
Alabama Shakes’ ‘Sound & Color’ is expected to bow atop Billboard 200 next week. Good enough exposure for its Grammy hopes…April 20, 2015 at 3:36 pm #405977
Both Hozier and Meghan Trainor are not eligible for BNA since they got GF nominations last period…
2 things are true about UPTOWN FUNK: 1) It’s a lock for a ROTY nomination, 2) it’s gonna lose ROTY for sure…
I wonder how the voters will react to the hottest song right now, will they only give it noms in the Rap Field, or does it have a chance to show up in the GF… there aren’t many options at this point besides FUNK, Thinking Out Loud and Blanc Space… plus it’s beautifully written I think it has an outside chance at gettin’ support for a SOTY nomination…
I also wonder who’s gonna win this ROTY/SOTY categories… Ed Sheeran seems like the obvious choice but his dated and boring, 2 year old song… I don’t know.April 13, 2015 at 12:52 pm #409511

‘Sugar’ coming for the #1!!!February 26, 2015 at 9:05 am #181061
I don’t think David O. Russell deserved any of the Oscars he’s been nominated for… Wes Anderson will win one in the next five years, he’s becoming a regular in the awards race…February 25, 2015 at 5:54 pm #409395
Garbage abounds in this weeks Hot 100 top 10! From Taylor Swift to Taylor Swift, my ears just can’t seem to stop bleeding.
Agreed!February 19, 2015 at 6:03 pm #409372
Congrats to Drake!!! THE RAPPER of our generation… the album is also great, critically acclaimed with a metascore of 80 last time I checked… it’s really addictive, listen to it everyday since it dropped…
On the other hand, I have mixed feelings about Hot 100’s Top 10, there are some great tracks in it like ‘Sugar’, ‘Uptown Funk’ and ‘Love Me Like You Do’, but it’s kinda becoming slow and monothonous in the upper tier, not to mention this horreondous song like STYLE entering just made it look like the worst top 10 I’ve seen in many years, seriously…kinda reminds me how bad the chart looked when ‘Gentleman’ by PSY became a Top 10 hit… but congrats I guess, If LA MACARENA topped the chart then this crappy tune has a chance too…
