I Had Mark Rylance but took him since he hasn’t really turned up on any of the critics awards list but I may put him back because I feel the academy really likes him. Bo Burnham could surprise or even Orion Lee if First Cow ends up getting academy love. Wish there could be more than 5 nominees because we have some many deserving this year starting with all ones who are apart of great ensembles but get ignored because everyone decides to focus on one or two. The main four in One Night In Miami are all deserving as is the core group of Da 5 Bloods and although I am not a huge fan of Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom there are at least 4 worthy performances in it as well. And not to Mention Trial of Chicago Seven. The one surprise that would make me happiest is if Stanley Tucci squeezes in for Supernova. Overall I predict Daniel Kaluuya to win but I’m rooting for Leslie Odom Jr(he will win for song and they won’t reward him twice)

I keep track of all the movies that vibe out in the year and when I see them I will score the movie on the tracking list in addition to noting performances and other stand outs that might figure into awards seasons. I also note ones that o particularly thought were to nominate for my awards. I would even do it for free
