Shitty writing per usual, but I’m absolutely loving the campy fun.
ReplySeptember 27, 2016 at 1:34 pm #1201928297The 3rd episode was about on par with the 2-part premiere. There is definitely a ton of promise here. I’m sure as we go along, the writing will become cleaner and the laughs more frequent, just like Parks.
Definitely unlike any other comedy on TV, you can’t argue that.
ReplySeptember 27, 2016 at 1:32 pm #1201928296Definitely a solid B to me. Nothing new. I want some CHANGE, Modern Family! C’mon!
A big positive that they’ve brought on their first transgender character for an arc this season, though.

ReplySeptember 27, 2016 at 1:29 pm #1201928293I was SHOCKED by the cameo. Mad Men 4ever <3<3<3
This was one of the most action-oriented LMOE’s of its run. I liked it. The production elements seem different, it’s refreshing. Shaping up to be a solid season. The writers/producers seem more confident this season.
ReplySeptember 27, 2016 at 1:26 pm #1201928290The latest Entertainment Weekly has a feature on Ryan Murphy and his shows. In the AHS section, Ryan discusses this season of AHS and mentions that the first 4 episodes are in the format of the mockumentary type of thing, but then he completely pulls the rug out from under everyone for a few episodes.
What do you think that will be? That Lily Rabe, Adina Porter, etc aren’t actually be filmed for a reality TV show and instead are in some type of other nightmarish situation?
We shall see… I’m quite enjoying this season so far. It’s different! More intimate. Not as lavish and extravagant as Hotel tried to be.
