Also, is Rihanna making a pop album?, I thought that R9 was not going to be strictly pop as with her earlier work and be more a la ANTI. Does anyone know what genre of music it’s going to be?
Ri is rumored to be making 2 records: 1 Pop & 1 Reggae. But knowing her, she’ll probably release 1 album and send it to Progressive R&B.

The liquid dye that dripped from his head gave a better performance.
ReplyJanuary 18, 2021 at 4:08 am #1203989162This tweet left me in doubt
The definition of an “awards film” has changed significantly in the past decade.
If a movie or performance is worthy of recognition (solely based on merit), why should it matter?
The sentiment presented in this tweet is the exact reason why most average people don’t care about these kinds of things.

ReplyJanuary 18, 2021 at 3:59 am #1203989154I watched PYW for the 2nd time with friends. I loved it, they hated it. Go figure.
Emerald Fennell deserves a Best Director nomination. And honestly…I could see it happening.
ReplyJanuary 18, 2021 at 3:55 am #1203989152Carey deserves a nomination. But I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s snubbed Jake Gyllenhaal style (nominated at the precursors but snubbed at Oscars).
PYW is a great film but it’s also very polarizing & that ending is divisive. A lot of older voters might be turned off.
ReplyJanuary 18, 2021 at 3:49 am #1203989146IASF is Beyoncé’s safest era in terms of Pop appeal. She had 10 nominations & 6 wins. Had Kanye not interrupted Taylor’s VMA speech, B might’ve won AOTY. I’m convinced it was close.
There’s a possibility BEP could’ve won too.
ReplyJanuary 18, 2021 at 3:43 am #1203989140BPVA might be a 6 nominee year:
Ariana, Adele, Ed, Kelly, Taylor, & Billie.
There’s also Lana, possibly Bieber, & Timberlake is rumored to drop.
