Don‘t worry darling won’t be a contender for a nom in the main categories. I haven’t looked that deep into the cast but the main people involved definitely aren’t oscar darlings lol.January 19, 2021 at 5:02 pm #1203992303
do we think olivia wildes new movie will be competitive? if so which categoriesJanuary 13, 2021 at 2:01 pm #1203982205
as we‘re talking about new artists I really hope for zoe wees to breakthrough in the US this year. probably not on a scale for a nom but in general.January 4, 2021 at 3:42 pm #1203962576
I honestly think I won’t enjoy the ceremony that much this year. I just don’t like award shows atm with everyone attending via zoom or with these pre recorded perfomances/acceptance speeches. don‘t get me wrong, I think it’s definitely the right and only way to keep them going at all but I‘m just not as captivated and interested in watching them as I was pre covid.January 1, 2021 at 7:26 am #1203956337
lorde is literally sooo underrated (especially in a commerical way). she’s one of the best female singer/songwriter out there especially since the masterpiece melodrama. It’s kind of sad she doesn’t get the pop support because I think she‘d deserve it so much.December 29, 2020 at 5:58 am #1203951133
I honestly don’t think taylor will be a strong player or be nominated in the GF with kind of the „same“ album two years in a row (especially if she wins AOTY this year)December 20, 2020 at 11:53 am #1203934848
when we‘re already at it with this forum: when I first came on here my delusional self thought this was an objective, kind of professional forum to discuss the grammys. turned out it actually is twitter 2.0 with 90% swifties lolDecember 16, 2020 at 12:58 pm #1203925446
wait for it to be bull* that adele is performing lolDecember 16, 2020 at 11:16 am #1203925142
but to whoever thinks Harry’s hype has “died down,” you’re sorely mistaken.
I mean the hype around him has definitely died down since nominations. it’s just that his team and he himself does nothing to keep him „relevant“ for grammy voting, they aren’t even promoting golden by playlisting or doing anything to push it on the charts. his chances for a win against taylor were already low but since he isn’t campaigning or doing literally anything, a win for him is off the table.December 16, 2020 at 7:54 am #1203924632
dua lipa will perform 100% as she’s been doing a lot this whole year, taylor as well and megan (maybe with beyonce). halle x chloe is likely as well. if harry attends which I somehow doubt I‘m sure he‘ll also perform as he‘s a really close friend to ben winston.December 14, 2020 at 12:10 pm #1203919644
Adele and Rihanna are retired musicians at this point. If these two don’t officialy announce a lead single, nobody is going to believe they are actually intending to start an era. I am actually shocked Adele thought it is a good idea a 6 year gap.
let’s be real: when she releases there will be hype, she‘ll sale A LOT and top the charts big time, despite not having released in 6 years. we‘re talking about ADELE and not some small act who needs to stay relevant and has to establish himself lolDecember 14, 2020 at 4:37 am #1203918754
Fun Fact: Ariana is lucky to even be a Grammy winner. 7 years of career and 1 single win is not a good look.
not a good look referring to what? grammys don’t make your music or career any better, especially when most of the people outside of this forum don’t give a fuck how many grammys an artist has wonDecember 5, 2020 at 12:08 pm #1203896536
Last year, Billie Eilish appeared on CBS Sunday Morning on Dec.8th. Final voting started the following day. This year, Dua Lipa booked the same slot and the final voting starts on Monday.
I don’t think this says anything at all. you can’t compare billies era to duas.
