FX's Better Things Season 1 thread
I don't love "Louie," and I'm not too familiar with Pamela Adlon's work, but the trailer made me lauboss
Many people may disagree with me but I think it was better than Atlanta. For me it has never gone beyond the episodes "BAN" and "Streets on Lock".

The X-Files Limited Series (January 2016)
This makes my day to hear this. And I am really glad they are doing this as a limited series anBoidiva02
Is X-Files possibly being underestimated in the Limited Series categories (assuming it is placed there and not in drama series). With the kind of ratings it got should we be wondering if it will possibly be a big contender?

Best Comedy Supporting Actress Episode Analysis
Okay, here we go: Mayim Bialik - The Big Bang Theory: 3 minutes of screentime, no big scenes,David Buchanan
Mayim Bialik - The Big Bang Theory: 3 minutes of screentime, no big scenes, nothing. It has a sweet moment with Sheldon, but the focus isn't on Amy, they don't allow her to react to the "I love you". What the hell was Warne

Outstanding Comedy Series – Episode Analysis
[quote="jjjmoss"][quote="TWJoeMarino"]Louie didn't go with "Sleepover" even though it's up for DirTonbone
I think Parks & Rec picked the best sampling of episodes so based on that they should win but the snubs in directing & writing worry me I so wish they were nominated in those categories.

I'm holding out hope that F/X will embrace "The Making of...Baby Jane'' starring Lange/Sarandon with open arms, thus giving it it's first Tv Movie that can rival HBO's lineup for that year. With "Fargo'' and "American Horror Story" etc., i

Sandra Oh leaving Grey’s Anatomy

It was the top broadcast drama, but with Cristina leaving, the rating is so going to drop. And yeah Heigl was quite a bitch, but she's the only one out of the original five that still has got a chance to return, since Izzie isn't dead.

Do pilots make good submissions?
I really depends on the episode. Brian Cranston has a nice long episode that gave him a lot of rangeGabriel
For shows that aren't really that ensemble-y, then yes absolutely. The purpose of a pilot is to really set up your protagonist and his or her conflcits etc. As such, the lead is probably going to be in every scene; it's usually only in subsequent epi
