Someone please correct me, maybe I have a hearing problem, but the room did cheer her and clapped when she spoke about raft of female performances? Right? I heard that well?
You did. People here are simply burned by CB’s win.
They should listen to her speech properly before barfing nonsense.
She is the one who always praise her co-nominees. Superiorly supportive of her co-stars and all every other industry folks.
Have they heard Streep speech when she won her 3rd!January 11, 2023 at 5:59 am #1205234843

Winning trifecta isn’t easy in such a tough race.
Hats off to Cate Blanchett for winning this.December 23, 2022 at 2:59 am #1205207115
Michelle Yeoh has narrative, is overdue and, from major BP contender.
It will require someone legendary to beat her (with better narrative and acting).
And we have seen how Cate Blanchett has performed in Critics circuit by taking major critics awards.
It all will boil down to who wins the SAG.December 22, 2022 at 10:42 am #1205206167
By numbers, even thought Yeoh has won more Critics awards, Cate Blanchett has won major Critics. Not now
