Felicity Jones literally missed last year for playing RBG an equally baity part. Erivo’s not happening.

Delusional Emma Stone hate on this website… Nothing new.
Saying she did nothing when she sang, dance, cried, laughed, screamed and owned the whole film…. We get it she didn’t deserve to beat Natalie and Isabelle it’s time to move on and realize she is nowhere near the worst acting winner this decade.

The trailer had me excited but I was always worried that Lucy in the Sky would turn out to be Vox Lux 2.0. Turns out it’s even worse? Yikes.

So Jojo Rabbit is almost back in certified fresh territory on RT. Really don’t know what to do with this one.

Bombshell has legit no reason to flop. A-list cast, powerful and timely subject matter, Oscar winning screen-writer and one of the best teasers of the year (imo). It’ll do just fine.

The buzz for Awkwafina will be back since she’s almost definitely winning the comedy globe(supposing Theron goes drama).

Judy is probably my most anticipated film of the year just for Renee’s performance

You can’t appreciate Rachel’s performance based on a single clip because she really portrays two characters, Midge in her day to day life and Midge when she performs. It’s really phenomenal how she seamlessly transitions from one to the other.
This clip is the closest she gets to mixing both these sides of Midge but she’s still performing in front on an “audience”.

Most of these clips are perfect tbh

So happy they aren’t dropping Truth Be Told at the same time as The Morning Show.
Also 4.99$/month is more than reasonable.

I’m not on the Irishman train but it doesn’t matter whether it “flops” or not indeed.
I was sure Scorsese wanted it to have a theatrical release oh well
I’m going to ignore the fact that you pretty much agreed with my 5 Adapted Screenplay nominees to point out that I wasn’t referring to the field of nominees itself, but which massive Oscar juggernauts are competing in which category. Waves, Parasite, Pain and Glory, The Farewell, and Booksmart (LOL) are not major Oscat contenders. Bombshell may be, but I have my doubts.
A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood will not be a massive Oscar juggernaut. It’s a contender but so are Waves, Parasite, Pain and Glory and The Farewell. Also, a lone screenplay nomination definitely makes sense for Booksmart. I think we just aren’t talking about the same thing lol.

Also, Adapted Screenplay’s strong as hell, what are you guys talking about? The Irishman, Little Women, ABDITN, Just Mercy, and Joker (and maybe FvF) are all for sure competitlng in that category, and even if you personally don’t like any of those films, they’re all Top 10 Picture contenders. Original Screenplay has 2-3 Picture contenders tops: Parasite and Waves are probably not getting in.
Just Mercy and The Irishman are probably flopping, but even if they are in, try to name one other film that makes sense as a nominee other than those you name. This is the GD top 10:
1. The Irishman: no word yet but chances are, it’ll be a HUGE flop at the box office
2. Little Women: probably locked
3. Jojo Rabbit: critical flop
4. A Beautiful day in the Neighbourhood: Screenplay was panned by critics but it’s probably in
5. Joker: a superhero movie (they don’t do well in screenplay) but probably in
6. The Laundromat: critical flop
7. Just Mercy: totally looks like a flop and too old school for the new voters
8. The Goldfinch : critically panned
9. Dark Waters : is this even playing at any festivals?
10. Downtown Abbey: critical flop
Original Screenplay has OUATIH, The Farewell, Waves, Parasite, Marriage Story, Booksmart, Ford vs Ferrari, Bombshell, Pain and Glory etc. that all could make it in.
EDIT: we actually have reviews for Just Mercy and, as expected, they aren’t great.
