Comer is not ahead of Oh but is close enough that a vote split is inevitable.July 19, 2019 at 10:46 am #1202985331
Cats isn’t getting anywhere near acting noms, except maybe at the globes. Expect the RT score to be around 30%.July 19, 2019 at 1:17 am #1202984699
I’m not here for people calling Colman the worst in the category, no she didn’t have much to do but it’s still a brilliant performance and she stole every scene she was in.
Supporting actress is the best category so the worst of this category is still a pretty good performance. Gilpin, Hinkle, Borstein, Clifford would all make exceptional winners.July 19, 2019 at 12:45 am #1202984660
Olivia Colman is the least deserving from her category. Sian Clifford would be a great winner though.July 19, 2019 at 12:01 am #1202984591
I’m currently in family vacation and the family dynamics kinda suck. I’m dealing with it by getting drunk every night. No one has noticed yet.July 18, 2019 at 11:52 pm #1202984558
For absolutely doing nothing as well? Well, I agree because the category has no competition and is frontrunner-less. Only (Ron C.) Jones could upset, but I don’t think he’s repeating. I’ve seen people claim Angarano (is that how it’s spelled?) is the most deserving. Is this true?
Hes very good and undoubtedly more deserving than Ron Cepha JonesJuly 18, 2019 at 10:53 pm #1202984462
I still see it doing better than just a runner up like Atlanta. Atlanta season 2 didn’t even come close to the viewership Barry got for it’s season 2 so more people have watched it.
But Atlanta season 2 was praised to a level Maisel and Barry can’t even dream of. In this lineup, Fleabag is the only one that comes close to the reviews Atlanta 2 got, but Atlanta was more seen and had the advantage of winning multiple Emmys the year prior. Imo the only thing that prevented an Atlanta sweep was its dramatic undertone.July 18, 2019 at 8:40 pm #1202984286

Barry reminds me of Atlanta. They’ll shower it with noms but it’s simply too dark and dramatic to win series. I’m starting to think Fleabag might actually take it.
Oh and I can definitely see Maisel winning directing since they can’t vote for it in writing.July 18, 2019 at 11:41 am #1202983302
What? They didn’t receive as big amount of noms as GoT, but what indicates that they ‘obviously’ didn’t care about Killing Eve and Ozark.
I said didn’t care that much. Ozark missed writing, lost a directing nom compared to last year and didn’t get any additional (Peter Mullen, Janet McTeer) acting nom. Ozark fell short of expectation by scoring only 9 nominations which doesn’t show a tremendous amount of support.July 18, 2019 at 11:26 am #1202983277
Let’s be real, she vote splitted with Emilia Clarke in her best seasons and lost. She’s doing it again with the other girls.
Shaw and Garner won’t receive enough votes to make vote splitting a problem. They obviously didn’t care that much for either show, especially Ozark. Since the GOT ladies will split literally all the votes, one of them will win. Lena Headey is the safest bet.July 18, 2019 at 11:12 am #1202983224
Sian Clifford = Phoebe Waller-Bridge
Ik PWB created the show but Clifford is exceptional and should be getting the same attention
