Y’all think that Lupita could get some nods at the GGs, SAGs and Oscars for Us?
I think she has chance at SAG. Sag is more open minded with genreDecember 5, 2019 at 3:38 pm #1203219178
Streep was second. Bates was third. That whole season when Zeta wasn’t in category Streep won. Also, have to remember that Was before started her late career award run. All predictors that year called it between zeta and street. When she won golden globe even she was surprised Bc she hadn’t won in such a long time.
Bates was closest for Primary Colors. But then Dench came in the pictureNovember 29, 2019 at 6:05 am #1203207811
Be hilarious if Deniro got nominated for the Joker , when people mentioned him for lead in IrishmanNovember 26, 2019 at 12:41 am #1203203647
Jlo will be like Sylvester Stallone for Creed trajectory if she is lucky. Reward is nomination.November 26, 2019 at 12:40 am #1203203643
I still think Akwafina will be this years nominated for everything then miss on oscar nomination. Also, think Ronan will miss. Pugh will be the acting nomination for Little Women. N this is my opinion , I’m not judging on anything or going by anythingNovember 19, 2019 at 7:29 pm #1203189005
I have to say Erin Doherty has been a great addition. She has been great and stood out with the little that they have given her. I hope for next season they realize how Great she has been and give her more to do. She usually stands out in her scenes.November 17, 2019 at 8:48 pm #1203184131
Also, Jane Lapotaire should be submitted for guest for Episode 4. She was great. I had no idea the history of her characterNovember 17, 2019 at 5:58 pm #1203183857
For all that say Olivia is underwhelming, last scene of episode 3. Enough said. Case closeNovember 17, 2019 at 12:09 pm #1203183477
While we are on the topic of personal favorites: Disclaimer: Haven’t seen The Two Popes, Marriage Story, Joker, Dolemite is My Name, The Irishman, For v. Ferrari, The Lighthouse yet. Banderas was a close 6th but I decided to go with Efron instead.
who are the last two?November 16, 2019 at 5:29 pm #1203182500
Original: Marriage Story Adapted: JoJo Rabbit

Nicholson., Charisma charisma, charisma. He also didn’t give same performance over and over or sleep walk thru them in old age like others mention…..November 16, 2019 at 11:33 am #1203182204
Ha, it was total disaster and I totally fell for it. Script made no sense. But I left with a smile. I’m sure will be played on tv for years.November 15, 2019 at 7:00 pm #1203181517
This open in NYC and LA this weekend. Caught a screening today.
First of the soundtrack is amazing. Sterling Brown said that script came with music cues. So as he read he had to hear music. Which is kinda brilliant.
Now on to movie. Have to say main character is insufferable haha. Kelvin is excellent but I couldnt stand his character. Sterling K Brown is very good. But he disappears for long chunks in movie.
Taylor Russell is also very good. Lucas Hedge was great too . I kept thinking he was going to be a bad guy since he was so nice in movie.
now direction was great . However movie needed some editing , It was just too long. With trailers . It was about 2.5 hours. I also think this will be divisive. Some people will hate and some will love. And not all of the movie worksNovember 15, 2019 at 6:53 pm #1203181515
I thought the rule for Robert Altman award was that if a particular movie wins, they are not nominated in acting categories. Usually award goes to a big cast, that’s why I thought of A marriage story.November 15, 2019 at 6:49 pm #1203181511
After watching, Waves, I say Sterling K Brown, is very good in it. But he disappears for large chunks of movie. I don’t se eit happening. Considering there are many options for supporting actor. It’s not like Regina king last year where category didn’t have many choices.
