Amy I simply do not see winning for this role at all. The melodramatic “look at how seriously flawed she is!” character has always been claimed to be ripe Oscar bait, but I personally cannot see any Best Actress winner in recent memory fitting into this mould.
Cate Blanchett – Blue JasmineOctober 21, 2020 at 11:59 am #1203794072
Boseman is going lead.

i’m pretty sure aaron sorkin will happen in screenplay and director here considering their weird obsession for him. wouldn’t be surprised if trial of the chicago 7 was the most nominated film of the night
yeah he won for Steve Jobs screenplay which was an absolute flop. I have him in for director and winning screenplay.
I have Hillbilly for Picture (Drama), Director, Actress, Supp. Actress and Screenplay. I hope people are mentally prepared.
I have the same except screenplay but that would be hilarious if it green booked its way to BP.October 20, 2020 at 5:11 pm #1203792471
Let’s do a little question – who are people’s second place predictions?
Mine is Amanda Seyfried – I am predicting Mank as the Best Picture winner, and predicting good stuff from her.
Olivia Colman. I got to see reviews for seyfried before I predict her.October 20, 2020 at 5:09 pm #1203792466
Marriage Story got more Golden Globe nominations than Joker or any other Drama. Sure they were always likely to opt for Phoenix but MS in no way underperformed in terms of nominations.
All these people trying to pretend like they were on the Phoenix bandwagon all along lol We remember who was acting like Driver was gonna sweep.October 19, 2020 at 7:02 pm #1203790167
Don’t forget her iconic leading role in the 80k grossing, 15% rated, prestige drama Winnie Mandela
And Spike Lee’s best movie Chi-Raq
Seriously though, I just can’t imagine her going 2/2. It just sounds foolish
That winnie movie is why i will never predict jennifer hudson for an acting award ever
