I always like to be positive, and I think, I almost see the Rock nominations this year as a final goodbye to the likes of AC/DC, Chris Cornell, Van Halen and Paul McCartney. This would be rather lovely if this truly was the case.

Foo Fighters and Weezer may feel like they might have a few years left in them yet before their time at the Grammys is done.

I agree completely, that would solve numerous problems straight away.

You know what this feels like lol, imagine if in the 1970s if a Rock Category existed, instead of nominating new talent like The Cars, Elvis Costello, The Runaways and Susi Quatro, you nominate Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Ricky Nelson and a posthumous nomination for Buddy Holly.

How many sympathy awards and nominations does Cornell need? He would have won his first posthumous award in 2018 if Leonard Cohen wasn’t nominated, then he actually does comfortably win his posthumous award in 2019.

Total agreement, One thing I have always liked about the Grammys is them recognising Weezer on a regular basis. I even liked Pacific Daydream despite everyone hating that.

I don’t want to do badly in Rock Album again!!!!

Ah I just assumed lol, they might not be doing Rock, either way, I think the likelihood of them getting in somewhere I think happens.

Help me Hildreth!!!! AC/DC or The Killers, who is more likely???

I have put Maneskin in Rock Album now, I think they are gonna do really well, especially since they are presenting the Rock categories, it would be pretty strange if they didn’t get recognised somewhere.

Still deciding on that last Rock Album nominee out of AC/DC and The Killers.

I am desperate to do better on Rock Album, I only predicted 1 correct nomination in both 2019 (Cage The Elephant) and 2020 (The Strokes).

I am still tinkering with my final predictions, one dilemma I have is with The Killers, they haven’t been nominated since 2007, they campaigned last year and they failed to get in, they are being campaigned again, I am really 50/50 with them getting in for Rock Album. 2007 was a long time ago…
