At least, Clooney and Arkin tried to do something interesting with their roles so I have to go with Jim Broadbent here. He gave a solid performance but it was unmemorable in an unmemorable film.

I love all of the nominations for Drive, and while I didn’t like the latest Harry Potter, it’s nice to see nominations stray from the actual Oscar nominations.
Here’s hoping The Tree of Life can pull out a win somewhere (I’m assuming Cinematography is its best shot).
