Will The Martian surprise everybody on Oscar nonination days?
I'm sorry Nomination day stupid IPhoneDominicCobb
It'll on depend on where the buzz for the film is come nomination day. It's a movie a lot of people are talking about now, so it's easy to see how it could get traction. In a few months, maybe not as much.I will say PD is competitive for sure, but re

Will Tatiana pull of a huge jaw dropper
If she did win, I would have a heart attack. It's been a crazy three years for Maslany and her standLilSebastianFan1
Tatiana is insanely talented, and I would be ecstatic to see her win. "Certian Agony of the Battlefield" is a marvelous episode (let's be real, she's phenominal in EVERY episode). However, I echo the concern that Emmy voters might beco

Are Inherent vice and Birdman to quirky to win best picture?
M: The Original
The studios behind these titles do not expect Best Picture wins. Nor do the filmmakers themselves caMacbeth
Yeah, I know you were being sensible, just the way you said it was a little strange When you put the numbers like that, it makes sense. Still, The Master didn't make much but still earned three acting nominations, so we'll see. Like I said, Birdman i

Who should win variety series
I think you mean Bill Maher rather than Bill Hader. Bill Hader doesn't have a variety series thoughMacbeth
Here is what I think the likely scenario will be:The Colbert Report wins one last time this year. The Daily Show will continue to be nominated, but until Jon Stewart retires from the show or they do something knockout in an election year, they won't

Will Matt and Don get nominated again for comedy actor?
My opinion. Episodes has showed more support so maybe Leblanc has a better chance but honestly I havETPhoneHome
I feel like LeBlanc has deserved it every year he's been nominated. He especially deserves it this year too. This role is better than his role on Friends, and he is the source of almost all of the show's comedy. Haven't watched House of Lies outside

Does the science fiction curse hurt Game Of Thrones?
I don't consider Game of Thrones to be science fiction. Does anyone else?WaltEagle
There's still a bias, but it's largely overcome it with the Emmys, just like how it has a lot of viewers who don't normally love fantasy. It's a big climb to win Drama Series though, and with the lack of a precedent similar winner and what I anticipa

Which series is likely to take down Modern Family?
From the choices, I think Transparent. However, I think Modern Family is going to win yemikeboy898
Modern Family can probably squeak out another win. I think the issue people have with the show at this point is that we know the show SO well that a lot of it just seems repetitive. What used to be hilarious and fresh just elicits some light chuckles
