We could ask Fiona’s housemate @Zeldahallman on twitter if fiona is submitting… She usually answers a lot of people. I don’t have Twitter so, someone else will have to do it, if they want to.September 18, 2020 at 5:51 am #1203714766
I hope this doesn’t translate to Best Pop Vocal Album nomination for Bieber. That category is already complete. If he gets in, it means another deserving album will miss. And the pandering feels so cheap. If you care about these people open up your purse.
He is definitely not getting nominated for that awful, panned album with a payola’d single that only stayed on the chart because of radio (Break My Heart Dua Lipa style, except that song is actually nice)September 18, 2020 at 5:47 am #1203714761
It’s almost certain that the Grammy’s will be online this year. How do you guys think they’ll announce the winners? I wonder if they’ll have the nominees in a zoom call. Asking all nominees to record acceptance speeches would take away any genuineness in the speech. That’d be terrible.
That’s how they did it at the Emmys so far and it’s really awkward (especially the ones who pretend to be shocked about winning even though they already know lmao) so I’m curious to see how they’ll handle the main show. I’m hoping the Grammys will do something like the ACM awards. I thought that was a good solution to have performers in different locations with camera teams so they could have a nice, non-zoom, professional performance. Which I guess would also allow for real-time reactions to winning their awards.September 17, 2020 at 3:41 am #1203712156
Surprised by how many are predicting Culkin https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/emmys-predictions-succession-schitts-creek-2020-1234771483/
The amount of Jennifer Aniston predictions make me lose faith in humanity. I mean I really enjoyed the morning show but I really don’t think she should win this.September 16, 2020 at 2:06 am #1203709498
Can we get the 1000th discussion about whether The Weeknd will win SOTY and ROTY instead of this year-old discussion that was discussed to death last year and bored the crap out of me by the 500th speculation? We don’t know and we’ll never know and some people will always use this to pin it on someone they don’t like while a few actually make rational speculations that make sense.September 15, 2020 at 6:36 am #1203707780
At first glance they seemingly have a huge discography but they don’t. They only have 4 albums and 6 EPS and the songs from EPS are on the albums in 7 years. They most likely won’t be nominated for BNA, but considering the rule changes I wouldn’t be surprised if they showed up!
How is that not a huge discography? lol besides they also have a Japanese discography where they have another 4 studio albums (most just rehashes of their Korean songs but whatever, still counts for the discography)
https://www.generasia.com/wiki/BTS I mean look at this
If they get nominated in that they need some new name for this category lolSeptember 8, 2020 at 11:32 am #1203693098
I don’t think Taylor is even gonna have another single for this album. She didn’t even do a single interview herself, all the interviews that were done were out within like 2 days of the album’s release and done by Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner respectively. And that’s all the promo there was. She will not suddenly go on a Grammy campaigning spree to get a nomination for exile. It’s too bad and as a fan I’d like to see some performances even if it’s just from home, but literally her only “appearances” were a voicenote left for a country radio station and 2 acceptance videos for awards. She’ll take what she can get with 0 effort (in terms of campaigning). I’m not counting on a nomination in pop duo/group I just don’t see it happening.
