No gaga here. Nicole, Kristen and Jessica are starting to look like locks. I think Alana might get in too. The last spot might be a fight between Gaga, Olivia, Penelope, Hudson and ZeglerDecember 2, 2021 at 11:51 am #1204620522Rachel Zegler and Alana Haim both won at the NBR awards. The best actress race is getting crowded. Hope Gaga makes it in the end.

November 29, 2021 at 5:57 am #1204612132One thing I hate about this movie existing is that it seems to have invited a consensus that Gaga didn’t deserve to be nommed for ASIB. Even her fans themselves are using that as way to show how much she’s grown as an actress to be deserving for this movie. For my money, Gaga earned those raves and that nomination and if she wasn’t seen as a pop star it wouldn’t be in question.
She didnt deserve to be nominated that year and thats just a fact. She did great for her first film, but there were tons of other performances that were more deserving that year.

the editing tho
November 25, 2021 at 8:12 pm #1204606993You found a FYC poster that only mentions rave reviews. Contrary to your belief, not everyone was satisfied with Gaga’s performance. Deal with it.
There is literally no one bad review for her performance. If you find one please post it here
November 25, 2021 at 9:24 am #1204606132What are they? Blind Side? I still (naively) think that score can go up a few points to 65
Edit Only 2 now Bohemian Rhapsody and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Vice has 65 on RT
November 25, 2021 at 9:01 am #1204606091Only 3 movies with a lower score on RT than HOG were nominated for BP since 2010. I dont think the BP nomination is happening. But the Box Office success will help Gaga and Leto.
November 25, 2021 at 4:11 am #1204605704There is no way this was going to get an A. B+ is good.
