Drew massive ratings for her music shows for ABC (both U.S. an Australia). Her Let’s Get Physical special, airing right after the network premiere of the Superman extended edition on ABC in 1982…30 million people saw it. A pioneer of the music video shown on network TV. One of the first to win the Grammy Video of the Year.

My bad; I thought the creative arts emmys were stretched out over 3 nights. Clearly, they were 2 nights last year.August 8, 2022 at 7:54 am #1205038500
Is there an HCA thread?
Which dovetails nicely into something I’ve needed to say; these awards are going to be 2 nights next weekend. The Emmys are FOUR nights, (3 for Creative Arts, then the main ceremony). If anything, the HCA is *streamlining* the number of nights it presents their awards.August 6, 2022 at 4:18 pm #1205037090
Nice to see broadcast network TV in the spotlight for a change in a time when that spotlight has been just about snuffed out.August 6, 2022 at 1:11 pm #1205036887
The main thing from comedy; this will not be a Ted Lasso walkover. We have us a race between it and AE.August 6, 2022 at 12:31 pm #1205036836
Stunning. Stunningly good. And not a squid in sight. Good on ya, Mandy. This was like a slalom course in skiing, and the TCA didn’t clip a single gate. The right shows won. I can’t get over just how pitch-perfect and logical these winners are. Brunson over Hader. Karma Gods smited genre fraud but good.August 5, 2022 at 9:09 am #1205035750
DS0816 is correct. Would be prudent to do this.August 1, 2022 at 8:54 pm #1205032135
There will be no second First Lady. Showtime cut its losses 📉 and canned it.July 28, 2022 at 7:49 am #1205027457
Still, IMO, this is 2000 Morons, er, Mules to lose.July 27, 2022 at 5:32 pm #1205026913
As great a cast that Shogun had, Shimada was the glue that kept it together. Wondrous, she was. Should’ve WON the 1981 Emmy for supporting actress in a miniseries.
FX has humongous shoes to fill. Sometimes there is no improving on chef’s kiss perfection. Not now
