I hope The Weeknd breaks the mold with subject matter with the Grammys. He gave us a full era that I was not expecting.

The Box is the most deserving at this point. If not SOTY, then at least ROTY.

What are you talking about lol? Everyone predicted Ariana in the big 3 not just me. I think if “Everything I Wanted” is nominated anywhere in the GF, it’ll probably win considering how weak the competition is. The only competition is Blinding Lights. The Grammy’s just showed that they love Billie.
I doubt it, especially they typically don’t award the year afterwards. I can see The Weeknd, Post Malone, Dua Lipa or Roddy Ricch taking ROTY or SOTY at this time. And Billie Eilish is not gonna really campaign for this song unless she releases another album, which I don’t see her doing until late 2021-early 2022.

M, why are supporting Billie? Like how you were with Grande when Gaga was snubbed from the big categories. When throughout the whole season you said Grande wouldn’t get snubbed across the board. After she won, you literally turned into the Billie beast. And everything I wanted is not a bad track too, it’s not the single I would ever award over Don’t Start Now, The Box, or Blinding Lights.
Everything I Wanted reminds me of Rainbow by Kacey Musgraves. Sort of like, I beat you, I would like to thank and god bless everything is over.

Zua Lapeeps is sweeping pop unless she gets the Lorde treatment.
Some has been watch A-Jay. But anyways, Lorde didn’t have a top 2 single with her album. And big sales as we are kinda seeing with Dua. Lorde has the superior album though.

For me it’s a high 7-low 8. Still rooting for it.

Why is no one talking about ROTY and SOTY last year, where people of color deserved to win then Bad Guy. Old Town Road is a staple of 2019, which is the longest number one single of the decade. Truth Hurts gave us quotable lyrics. And Taylor Swift and Lizzo deserved as well.

Girl it’s March.
well as of now. most AOTY have came out already (Morning Phase, 1989, 25, 24k Magic, Golden Hour, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP WHERE DO WE GO?). So as of now who’s do we keep an eye on? Personally it’s between Roddy Ricch, The Weeknd and Dua Lipa.

Those saying Future Nostalgia will not win AOTY, who will win AOTY this year? Please make your case.

I don’t get the fuss about her, she doesn’t have powerful vocals, her music isn’t innovative, zéro stage presence. Why is she so hyped?
Personally changed everything towards the better. The production. The lyrics. Her stage presence. And if you’re look for powerhouse singers look towards Beyoncé or Adele. This is someone who’s bringing something new to pop atm, like Billie Eilish in 2019.
