Justin is the reason the other guys seem to be holding back from doing it. He never ceases to eff with other artists. Ugh!February 20, 2020 at 5:31 pm #1203354403
Ellen Parker’s 1993 win for Supporting Actress should’ve been a tie with Kimberlin Brown. Brown was technically a Lead as she carried so much story as Sheila. She was on fire all year long with Sheila’s craziness.February 19, 2020 at 5:10 pm #1203352874
I thought it was odd that Julie didn’t acknowledge Bill as her uncle in the scenes with Doug and Jenn. And Jenn didn’t mention Mike or Laura. I think my issue with Bill’s death is that RC does these things for no other reason than he enjoys killing legacy characters off. Although this is one of the few times that it made sense (connecting it to Doug’s 50th anniversary on the show).February 19, 2020 at 5:01 pm #1203352859
I wasn’t looking forward to the baby reveal because the show always finds a way to include those human dirtbags Sonny and Carly in the story. Carly has no damn right to be self-righteous after what she and Sonny did to AJ and someone needs to remind her smug ass about that.February 19, 2020 at 4:58 pm #1203352853
From what I remember, the original plan was for Ben to be gay. The show recast the role because Justin Gaston did not want to play that storyline. At least that was the rumor. They scrapped the story once Rob took over.February 16, 2020 at 9:13 pm #1203349091
Glenn Close should’ve won that year.February 16, 2020 at 9:12 pm #1203349089
I agree that Brad Pitt was not the true Best Supporting Actor but the true winner wasn’t from Parasite.February 15, 2020 at 12:37 am #1203347478
If the show were really smart, they’d send Ciara away for awhile and give us the Ben/Will/Sonny triangle! Ben and Will are hot together!February 14, 2020 at 4:47 am #1203346568
The Bond song would sound great if she wasn’t singing (and I use that term very loosely) it. Her suicidal homicidal delivery makes me cringe.February 14, 2020 at 4:37 am #1203346562
She was also outstanding in Desperate Housewives as well. Was never gonna happen considering how dead with the Academy the show was by the time she joined.
I was disappointed that she wasn’t nominated for DH because she definitely had the material.February 12, 2020 at 9:48 pm #1203345074
These actors losing or not being nominated:
Glenn Close (The Wife)
Whoopi Goldberg (The Color Purple)
Alfre Woodard (Clemency)
Angela Bassett (What’s Love Got To Do With It)February 11, 2020 at 10:06 am #1203342971
No Asian actors nominated.
No Lady Gaga. At least as a presenter or replacing the dreadful Billie Eilish.
Jennifer Lopez undeservedly snubbed. To the secret voter who said eff her, well eff you! Lopez got her revenge with the Super Bowl.
Cynthia Problematic Erivo as the lone black actor nominated when there was Lupita, Alfre, Aldis, Kelvin, Octavia, etc. who ALL deserved noms.
Black people care about the Oscars. We do not watch when we continue to get overlooked! It’s even worse for Asians and Latinos.
I’m not saying to nominate people for the sake of diversity. But white folks should’ve been the minority this year. Instead, ScarJo got TWO nominations!!!
Again, what reason was there to watch? To see pill popper Zellweger?February 11, 2020 at 2:29 am #1203342557
I predicted this! Other than Parasite, who was there to root for?
The nominees were terrible this year.
And just as I predicted, they trotted out all of the black talent to try and get people to tune in. I’m still shocked Hudson and Legend weren’t called.February 9, 2020 at 10:26 pm #1203340858

None of the acting winners deserved their Oscars this year except Joaquin. 90% of the actors nominated should not have been nominated period. This is the year where white actors should’ve been the minority in noms.
