Yes the Festival has been postponed and will begin July 6th.
The selection will be revealed on May 27th.

Just here to say that Ang Lee’s Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk is a masterpiece and one of the most visually compelling film I ever saw. Severely severely underrated, watch it !

Gary Oldman is really great in Mank and deserves his nomination.

And this idiot spoiled Promising Young Woman ending, a film that I’ve not seen yet. It will get a theatrical release in June in France and I’ve waited all season because I did not want to discover it on my computer knowing I’ll have the chance to see it in cinema. I’m so pissed.

And Borat 2 barely missed a BP nom this year.

Chicago 7 also is a crowdpleaser and using  Fred Hampton’s murder to show that the movie is depressing is dishonest.

Me too, I feel Rocks could easily upset in this category.

Personally it’s the Animated Category that makes me loosing sleep. I know Soul is the favorite but I believe Wolfwalkers is beloved in its own country and BAFTA’s are not Disney or Pixar sheeps like the Oscars.
