ReplyMay 21, 2020 at 6:46 am #1203493248So excited to watch the series finale. Just saw the teaser and my god it’s going to be an intense acting showdown. Ever since, I knew for sure that Rose Byrne will get in the Best Supporting Actress lineup, but after watching the preview, I’m pretty much confident she’s winning the prize.

1. Rose Byrne.
2. Sarah Paulson.
3. Margo Martindale.
These three are inescapable presence in the series.
4. Uzo Aduba.
5. Tracey Ullman.
Great in their standalone episodes but didn’t see them much ever since.
6. Elizabeth Banks.
7. Ari Gaynor.
Subpar material and OK work.

ReplyMay 15, 2020 at 3:02 am #1203482494Oh God, let Liza Weil get a farewell Emmy nomination for this! Please, I will never ask for anything else!
She deserveed it more for season 5. It was her EMMY season. I would have kicked one of the GOT ladies out for her. Such injustice.
ReplyMay 15, 2020 at 12:48 am #1203482395I loved the finale and I’m going to miss this show so much. It became a part of my life for 6 years and watching it end earlier made me bawl my eyes out hard.
* The ensemble should receive a nod for best casting in a drama series.
* There is no way Viola Davis is missing that spot in the Best Drama Actress lineup. The scene on the steps was ACTING.
* Liza Weil moving through the crowd in slow motion just proves how gifted she is as an actress.
* Connor and Oliver’s scene made me ugly cry.

ReplyMay 11, 2020 at 8:29 pm #1203477254Man I just finished Unbelievable. Could the Limited Series race be a three way one with Mrs. America, Watchmen and Unbelievable like last year with Chernobyl, When They See Us and Fosse/Verdon? There are arguments that disadvantage and favour all three.
Chernobyl, When They See Us, *Escape at Dannemora.
