I don’t know what kind of fan you are when the entire fandom agrees that is the best thing that has happened to the franchise in the last century.
I guess I’m not that much of a fan then because I honestly had no idea their fandom thought this was the best thing that happened to the franchise. I guess I should have just said I liked the movies?July 28, 2020 at 2:40 pm #1203609977
I think what this years nominees show that show that aren’t immediately available on one of the streaming services moving on are severly limiting their nomination chances moving forward. AMC needs to cut a deal with Netflix for next day airing of new episodes.
I see your point but Killing Eve is also on basic cable and they have fared better than Better Call Saul.July 28, 2020 at 2:26 pm #1203609890
What We Do in the Shadows is the funniest show on TV. The Comedy nominations are actually fire, but I don’t think The Kominsky Method deserved this much.
I agree! Ramy, Better Things, The Great, Never Have I Ever, Little America, Sex Education, and so many others they could have chosen would have made for a better nominee than The Kominsky Method.July 28, 2020 at 2:18 pm #1203609854
Giancarlo Esposito’s reaction to being a double nominee is soooo sweet! What a bean 🙂
I don’t have a favorite in this category since Tom Pelphrey got snubbed, but if Esposito won I wouldn’t be mad at all.July 28, 2020 at 1:31 pm #1203609641
Does The Mandalorian getting in over The Morning Show mean that Disney+ has a stronger awards campaign team than Apple TV+?July 28, 2020 at 12:29 pm #1203609242
I don’t know how to explain it because the two shows are not related at all, but “What We Do in the Shadows” being nominated for comedy series gives me hope that “PEN15” can get into series in the future as well. Both were nominated for Best New series at WGA and “PEN15” even got a writing nomination for its first season.July 28, 2020 at 12:21 pm #1203609204
Anyone else remember watching Euphoria right after Big Little Lies last summer and thinking Zendaya outshined all of the BLL ladies? Just me?July 28, 2020 at 11:58 am #1203609112
I remember always being like “What about Cecily Strong?!” because I thought she was just as deserving of a nom as Vannesa Bayer, Aidy Bryant, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon were, and now she’s finally nominated! So I’m happy for her!July 28, 2020 at 11:45 am #1203609061
I’m happy all the Succession guys got in for Supporting Actor, but I think they’ll end up splitting the votes. I know Billy Crudup has gotten high praise for his performance, and Giancarlo Esposito could potentially be a spoiler because he is overdue, but my money’s on Bradley Whitford since he won for this role in Guest Actor last year plus the Emmys love him.July 28, 2020 at 11:35 am #1203609039
I’m a Star Wars fan so I tried watching The Mandalorian when it first premiered, but I couldn’t even get through the first episode because it was so boring. I guess I’ll give it another shot.July 28, 2020 at 11:20 am #1203608948
