Witherspoon was never gonna be a factor for season 2 of Big Little Lies. She had nothing to do in that season.
Linney was just crazy crazy good in season 3. Some of the best acting ever in episode 9 and she communicated it all without dialogue. Incredible. Olivia Colman was very good in “The Crown”, but not award-worthy. I think Aniston is…[Read more]
Sterling K. Brown is a big factor again in the Drama Actor race. The writers gave him great stuff in the last few episodes of the season and, of course, he soared. The finally 6 episodes of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” were OUTSTANDING. The best run the show has ever done. I hope Jane Krakowski can get back in because she could win.

I LOVE Maggie Rogers’ album.
And Ariana deserves an AOTY nom for “Thank U Next”. I mean the chart performance of the singles is very impressive. And it’s a great cohesive album.
That Best Lead Actor in a Film category is a fantastic lineup (I mean, eye roll, at Denzel but pretty cool he’s nominated alongside his son).
Surprised Regina Hall wasn’t nominated for “Support The Girls”.
And interesting that Sanaa Lathan has survived Beyonce bite-gate and got 2 noms. LOL.
