Devastated by this news, but not surprised.
At this point I’m just happy I lived to see full season of that universe. Never, ever thought it would happen.

She also praised many times I May Destroy You.
I hope next year her magic “awards-prediction-powers” will work with this show too. -

Yeah, twitter reacted at first like it always reacts. But now more and more finally realize that this is really…not a big deal, because as someone said, pretty much every single BEST P. nominee from the last 3 or 4 decades met the criteria.
sourceI’m sure there will be a lot of conversations about it and maybe even some changes to these…[Read more]

Just watched ep 11.
To say I’m anxious before the finale (this Monday) would be understatement.Absolutely!
I’m planning to watch this show again very soon. There are so many things to unpack in each episode.

Just watched ep 9 and 10 and honestly, this is truly remarkable show. Especially ep 9 “Social Media Is a Great Way to Connect” was uncompromising but in a way that didn’t feel manipulative. She really knows how to held her characters accountable. But she is dropping those truth bombs in a deeply empathic way. For a show that so easily could choose…[Read more]

I can’t watch this unique ceremony, because I don’t live in the UK, but first impressions? Do you guys already see what is and isn’t working and what should the Emmys avoid?

He gave an amazing performance! There was this one scene I think in ep 6…he made me cry so much and I do not cry easily!
So happy he won.

wow, normally I don’t pay much attention to campaigns (probably that’s why I only now found out that Riley did an interview with freaking Fiona Shaw), but this seems like an impressive list.

This is disappointing, but now in retrospect I appreciate Gentleman Jack performance on HBO a bit more. The whole collab between BBCA and HBO seems strangly muted. Those shows come and go without making any noise.
Anyway, HBO Go in my country is one week behind with the series, but just wanted to say, that I loved the last 10 minutes of episode…[Read more]

Even if I love the show, I’m glad this conversation happens.
Right now however, this new writer gets heat for things that she actually didn’t do:
1. she didn’t write s.3
2. she doesn’t do hire on KEFor quality of writing she will be judge next year, for tone deaf tweet she can be judge now, for everything else – the whole industry (and…[Read more]

I watched it just before the noms announcement. It was always on my radar because of japanese actors. It’s low key my fave show of 2020.
Not perfect by any means, but who needs perfect shows!? I just admire the show’s commitment to the characters, how it’s not afraid to be slow, to take time. But patience pays off – emotional beats that the show…[Read more]

After that first ep I’m definitely in.
I watch the trailer, so I knew what this is all about, but there was something so incredibly tense about the second half.
My anxiousness was growing with each passing minute, because I subconsciously was seeing potential perpetrator in every new character..That was so well played and structured.

Adrian Johnston (Giri/Haji) is nominated for Best Original Music, but it’s impossbile to find his score online.
The music on this show is spectacular, so here is hoping this nom, will finally motivate someone to release it.

If anything, it was one of the reasons why s.2 finale was so perplexing to so many fans and critics. Season two was doing all the good work (ep 2×7 is one of my all time fave), only to retreat last minute in a manner that now frustrates even more.
Heathcote brought back Eve with suppressed dark desires, but thanks to s.2 ending, she had to do…[Read more]
