Next in line (in no particular order):

I have no idea who to pick for the 4th and more so the 5th spot, I’m not 100% convinced that Alana was top 2 at BAFTA. I have a feeling it was Joanna or Emilia. So I’m picking one of the ingénues (ish) I believe gave the better performance.  Plus CODA performed much better than I expected considering it came out relatively early prior to awards season. In a perfect world my personal preference for the Oscar Best Actress line up would be Stewart, Reinsve, Cruz, Gaga and Thompson.

That fake comment from Anne Thompson  was such a low blow. If anything, Gaga always appears to be passionate when she talks  about her work, it’s always been that way about her music. Since when did commentary on Oscar predictions  become about personal attacks from the experts! This is very disappointing Gold Derby, you should remove her from this site! Furthermore, Anne is quite a hypocrite as the article she referenced in the video praised Gaga.

LMAO 🤣 🤣 🤣 . There is no way in hell a Jury would select Gaga over any of the other contenders on the long list. Gaga got the members vote. Clayton is just drawing at straws to try and justify his abysmal predictions. Its an embarrassment for any entity to consider him an expert. I think incompetent is more appropriate. Its time for Variety and Gold Derbey to find a new ‘expert’.

Guys its great Lady Gaga got nominated but can we not jinx her. Oscar nominations have not come out yet and she has not won any of the precursors. Lets relax a bit and celebrate her nomination for now. I’m also in her corner, but every front runner thus far has been jinxed.

It seems like underestimating GAGA worked in her favor this awards season. I am so thrilled for her and the state of the race. I love how unpredictable it is. I loved HoG and especially her performance, so I couldn’t be happier for her.

5. Penelope Cruz (I saw Parallel Mothers and she absolutely deserves a nomination but its possible she will be replaced by Chastain or Haim).
