Mary J. Blige is not winning more Grammys than nor tying Beyoncé for total wins that night come February. Please. She’s being overestimated here. 3 wins in R&B is just not happening unless they give Beyoncé AOTY. Quote me on that.
I spilled, I fear.
ReplyFebruary 5, 2023 at 2:12 pm #1205287525I’m screaming at Mary being shut out.
February 1, 2023 at 1:18 pm #1205279953I’m loving the HDD articles this year in particular. What a train wreck! Every 2 days it’s totally new information contradicting previous narratives they started. And I just eat it all up!
ReplyFebruary 1, 2023 at 12:10 pm #1205279848They always show their true colors. Can y’all just post on your actual accounts? It’s corny at this point.
I don’t have an original account, dummy. I don’t know who on earth needs to tip toe into an alternate account around your nerd ass, but it definitely ain’t me.
Next time, keep scrolling.
ReplyFebruary 1, 2023 at 12:02 pm #1205279825A person with 18 posts and a member for two months here shouldn’t know what I “always do.” Furthermore, “standing on a hill alone” and saying “you guys can explain it however you want” gives off passive-aggressive teas.
I don’t give a fuck if it was 1800 posts. And, weirdo? LOL! Like girl, cut the bullshit. You quoted my post agreeing with you and playfully enjoying predictions by pretending to be attacked. OK, Karen. The nerve of you calling anyone passive aggressive when you jump thread to thread huffing & puffing while simultaneously trying to diagnose people as upset or angry, is hilarious.
If you felt it was passive aggressive, then that sounds personal? Put on your big girl panties and get the fuck over it. I’d offer an apology to your fragile ego, but I suppose it wouldn’t mean much until I reach at least 10,000 posts.
So, I’ll circle back. Until then, try to hop off my Quote button with your sensitive ass.
February 1, 2023 at 11:11 am #1205279725No one is denying that Adele might not sweep. Y’all get so offended over nothing.
Power, what is this gaslighting thing you always do? I literally just agreed with you and said I’m having fun. LOL.
In what way did I show offense? I’m not overly invested to ever attack or be mad on here. If anyone seems on edge to throw their weight around these days, it’s you.
Please take it easy.
ReplyFebruary 1, 2023 at 11:01 am #1205279703I’m perfectly fine being quoted and bookmarked later if I’m wrong — it’s just fun, but you guys can explain it however you want. Best Music Film being televised, for me, is not a good sign for Adele.
And I’ll stand alone on that hill until Grammy night.
But Ben Winston produced her special, so he probably is just patting himself on the back like Power said.
ReplyJanuary 28, 2023 at 6:56 am #1205272296or not. What would the Grammys get out of HDD throwing out lies about them not wanting Harry to win AITY due to controversy? HDD cries every time the Grammys nominate anyone who isn’t on their top 50 every week.
Who knows?
I’m aware of HDD’s annual temper tantrums come Grammy season.
It all just feels extremely calibrated and fake this time. I wouldn’t be surprised by anything anymore.
But one thing is for sure, that article got people talking and the ball started rolling.
ReplyJanuary 28, 2023 at 6:51 am #1205272288Within 48 hours of HDD saying sources say it’s unlikely Taylor, Adele, or Beyoncé are appearing or performing, they come back and tease a possible Beyoncé or Taylor performance. Then, Adele confirms her attendance.
I feel like that original article was entirely bullshit, tbh. Almost to the point it feels part of the Grammy PR rollout. The article went viral on Twitter, the performance announcements were the following day, and HDD followed it up then teasing a Taylor/Beyoncé performance that got people talking yet again…
I got their tea.
ReplyJanuary 18, 2023 at 12:43 pm #1205251246CBS posted yesterday on Instagram about the grammys with pictures of Adele, Harry and Beyonce. Today they started a countdown to the show If nothing comes out tomorow or friday about the line up will be very strange
As with mostly all current live award shows, the ratings will be low either way.
If they can pull off an all-star line up like Beyoncé, Taylor, Harry, Bad Bunny, Adele and Kendrick, they can announce it whenever.
The hype closer to the show, the better.

"CUFF IT" becomes @Beyonce’s 21st top 10 hit on the Hot 100 as a soloist.
— chart data (@chartdata) January 9, 2023
'RENAISSANCE' becomes @Beyonce's first album to earn multiple top 10 hits on the Hot 100 since 'I Am…Sasha Fierce', almost 15 years ago.
— chart data (@chartdata) January 9, 2023
Final round voting is over, but CUFF IT by Beyoncé just became the 2nd Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit from RENAISSANCE. Her first time scoring multiple top 10 hits from an album since I Am… Sasha Fierce.
Amazing for a 41 year old black woman in her 26th year of career and no performances or music videos.
ReplyDecember 15, 2022 at 6:16 pm #1205197002Didn’t Sza outstream Renaissance in just a week. Lol. The album doesn’t even have a billion streams after 12 months.
.@Beyonce's 'RENAISSANCE' has now surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify.

December 15, 2022 at 2:06 pm #1205196746Beyoncé and Amazon Music are partnering to host a Club Renaissance party in LA this weekend for 2 nights at a currently secret location.
A select amount of free tickets went to fans, and I’m sure industry people/potential voters were invited, as it’s in LA.
Welcome to the start of Beyoncé’s final voting campaign.
ReplyDecember 12, 2022 at 12:37 pm #1205191434Huns, I love how ya say Adele is flopping but Renaissance is literally the definition of a flop era. It’s Beyoncé lowest selling album hasn’t even reached 1 million in the U.S. and no one is talking about that album anymore. At least 30 had a big successful single that spent like 50 weeks on Billboard 100 and 10 weeks at number 1 something Beyoncé hasn’t done in 2 decades.
I hate to ruin the fun, but RENAISSANCE has sold 1,088,000 in the US to date and is certified Platinum.
The album also spent 14 weeks in the top 10 and spawned a 2-week #1 single despite no music videos, performances or any real promotion from Beyoncé.
You can call it many things, but a flop it is not.
ReplyDecember 12, 2022 at 12:05 pm #1205191349I don’t think anyone believes year end lists equate to a definitive Grammy win. That’s laughable. If anything, it’s great visibility leading into final voting in 2 days.
RENAISSANCE receiving so much acclaim across various publications over the last 2 weeks, coupled with CUFF IT all over radio, keeps the album feeling relevant and serves as a reminder of its quality.
