Both seasons were bad, Barry became insufferable after the time jump imo, Ted Lasso is worse tho because those episode lengths are not it and too many disposable characters in the ensemble.

JerEMMY is repeating wbk.

I do wonder if season 2 airing on summer might help it tho.

History tell us otherwise (Atlanta, Orange is the New Black). Maybe if Abbott gets into directing this year they can be a threat.

From the moment that episode premiered in January people have been rooting for him to win and he remains firmly in the lead even after all the Succession buzz.
The sentiment of it’s his time plus the great performance, yeah I don’t see him losing at all.
I still think Bartlett was better in that episode tho.ReplyHe lives in you, he lives in me, he watches over everything we see.

I think Beef and maybe Dahmer are locks but after that it’s anyone’s game. Fleishman? Kenobi? Black Bird? Love and Death? Daisy Jones? A Small Light? The Patient? Crazy category.

The man is a megastar beloved all over the industry. Plus, I think the industry still has some Atlanta fans holding on tight who could yet him in.
I agree, and I feel season 4 of Atlanta was more well received by the audience than season 3 so that might help him and maybe other noms like directing (which is also a branch that never dropped Atlanta).
I guess I’m sticking to Hoult because Elle being so heavily involved in campaigning might bring Hoult along for the ride, Glover atp doesn’t even remember Atlanta existed I’m sure.

I also think Hoult is more likely than Segel, but Glover is a wildcard for the sixth slot.

Into the water, into the truth, in your reflection, he lives in you.May 30, 2023 at 9:54 pm #1205446101Oh gosh, it’s so hard to decide. Yeah, I guess Connor’s Wedding is what was subconsciously on my mind and probably would be the first episode I think of when I think of *the* standout showcase of S4’s writing, but with how well the show stuck the landing, the finale is perhaps my second favorite? I also thought the premiere was an excellent introduction that felt cohesive to the end of S3’s events and had fantastic structure, as well.
This season was so well done that I think like 4 episodes would be win worthy in writing
– America Decides
– Church and State
– Connor’s Wedding
– With Open EyesIf I’m not mistaken all 4 were written by Jesse Armstrong, his mind needs to be studied lol. I also agree the premiere was very good, it’s my least favorite episode of the season but that’s just prove to how great of a season it was.
To the Better Call Saul stans on this site, the show is my next stop, I will rewatch the first seasons tho because I don’t remember much.

Which episode if I may ask? I assume Connor’s Wedding but maybe you liked the finale more, or even America Decides or Church and State.
